A small series of night photographs exploring stillness, movement, and the feeling of something briefly caught between presence and absence. Both photographs were made along the same fence at night. In one, the movement of my dog’s head during a long exposure creates a ghostly effect against an otherwise still figure. In the other, white wildflowers shift in the night air, leaving some blossoms sharp and others blurred.
